Beach Camping

We love camping at the beach. One of the best parts of camping at the beach is going to sleep to the sounds of the waves crashing. S loves to run and splash in the waves and J loves staying warm in the sand, but most of all they both enjoyed playing with their cousins.

The train was a huge hit for the children. As soon as they heard the train horns they would go running for a better view.   

A visit from Gret

I was so excited when I found out my sister and her husband were stopping over for a short visit. We had fun going with her to the beach. 

 

We went out to eat at Wahoos, one of our favorite places to eat.

 

 

We played at the beach, walked on the pier and rode bikes along the strand. It was a short trip, but we were so happy to play with family.

 

 

 

We were excited to see a huge pelican dive for fish, and a pod of dolphins splash and jump.

Balloon and Wine Festival

The last couple of years we have wanted to go to the balloon and wine festival. This year we actually made it. We stayed for the evening concert and then watched the balloons glow.

Swimming

We asked S what she wanted to do for her birthday and she said she wanted to go swimming. 

 

So we had her birthday party at Aunt T's house. S spent most of the day swimming and diving into the pool.

 

 We even jumped off the big rock.

J spent most of the day in the hot tub or staying warm under the towel.
